The wonderful bakery Jacques and Lilie was created in 2015 by outrageously talented Amandine and Paul, grandchildren of well-respected bakers in the South West of France. They grew up in a house surrounded by scrumptious cakes and tasty treats (it doesn't sound bad) and decided, thankfully for us, to work together to follow in their grandparents’ footsteps using the cherished recipes from their childhood. They reintroduced some of the great classic cakes as well as spicing up some of the old recipes with fresh and exotic flavours. Their creations are beyond superb and include classic Madeleines, Cannelés, Walnut Tartelettes and the Coeur Coco, a delicious coconut cake in a heart shape that hides an irresistible chocolate ganache at the centre. Their Cannelés Croquembouche tower, packed with delicious cannelé cakes, is a great and easy way for you and your guests to enjoy bite-size sweet treats. It's striking look can be emphasized with flower arrangements and will definitely bring the wow factor to any party. Finally they recently welcomed Ginette, a 1955 2cv coffee van to their family. We provide our own Signature blend which consists of Colombian & Brazilian beans which are individually handpicked at the farms, processed in the country of origin, and then shipped to our roasters who bring the beans to a medium roast giving you that sweet aroma and balanced acidity. My wife and I established café Bueno back in Jan 2017. We both quit our teaching jobs the following year to go full time with the business. We started with a mobile coffee van in North Greenwich station and expanded to four mobile pop ups in various locations around London. We have since opened a hugely busy takeaway Café in Kent. We offer three delicious coffee blends as well as delicious food such as sandwich, pies, our hugely popular bacon baps and much more. We also sell Baileys coffee, Baileys chocolate (hot or iced) at food festivals and events, which is a massive crowd pleaser. What sets us apart from the competition is our customers can choose what type of mobile pop up they would like. We have a beautiful converted coffee horsebox with an old Italian lever machine that is always in demand for weddings, corporate events and festivals. Next we have a small three wheeler Piaggio (mini tuk tuk) that can be used both indoors or outdoors. This always draws attention at events due to its size and how unique it is. Finally, we have two modern vans that are fully kitted out coffee vans. When fully set up with gazebo and counter top, the vans are practically invisible to the customer. Our baristas are of the highest quality. We are continuously upgrading our skills and coffee knowledge by attending regular barista training and coffee courses.
