About Ele's Little Kitchen
Ele's Little Kitchen was created from a dream of bringing a little taste of Spain to South Wales. We provide a mix of traditional and regional dishes, more popular in Murcia, where Elena originates from. Using recipes inherited by her family to provide an authentic Spanish experience that combines contemporary preferences with traditional cooking styles. Ele's Little Kitchen brings the authentic flavours of Murcia, Spain, to events across the UK with traditional dishes like tapas and paella, live cooking stations, sustainable practices, and a passion for community, creating unforgettable culinary experiences for every occasion. Examples of traditional Murcian tapas include marinera (a breadstick topped with Russian salad and an anchovy), michirones (slow-cooked fava beans), and pastel de carne (Murcian meat pie).

Tortilla de patatas
The combination of sautéed potatoes and onions, mixed with free-range eggs makes this tapa an all time favourite. Similar to an elevated British omelette, and served with garlic mayonnaise. (V) (GF)
Pisto
This dish is very popular in Murcia, roasted aubergine, courgettes, onions and peppers, stewed in a home made rustic tomato sauce. (Ve) (GF)
Patatas Bravas
Hand-cut potatoes, deep-fried, topped with Garlic Mayo and Bravas sauce, which is a smoky sauce made up of olive oil, smoked paprika and tomato paste. (V) Can be made Gluten Free and Vegan.
Calamari
Fried Squid accompanied with salad, lemon wedge and garlic mayo.
Croquettas
My personal favourite, these are made from a mixture of a cheese sauce and Serrano ham, rolled in breadcrumbs and deep fried to crispy perfection.
Empanadas
Spanish/ South American home made pasties with various fillings such as braised beef, chicken, tuna or veggie. They are delicious!
