Events and Publishing

I shoot scores of corporate parties each year, lots of big internal awards nights, summer parties and the Christmas season is flat out. My aim is to capture the atmosphere and the fun before the faces get too rosy and the hair gets too messy!

From May to September I get called on to photograph loads of outdoor events ranging from festivals to corporate summer parties. I have pretty much seen it all. Indeed in my career, I have personally organised a great many events, so I know how important it is to get the right photography to represent the event well to guests, visitors, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

I photograph dozens of birthday parties each year. 1st birthdays, 18th, 21st, 50th and 60th parties are the main ones. All are great fun and the name of the game is to get a great set of photos as a memory for all involved.

I photograph many balls for university societies, medical schools and other similar organisations. I have pretty much seen it all. Indeed in my career, I have personally organised a great many events, so I know how important it is to get the right photography to represent the event well to guests, visitors, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

I photograph loads of proms for schools and colleges all over the UK. I have pretty much seen it all. I reckon I photograph more than 75 conferences each year. Most are full day events where the organiser wants a set of photos that show delegates enjoying the event and networking with each other as well as shots of all the speakers and panelists looking super animated.My conference photography takes me all over the UK as well as around europe.

Awards dinners provide a real adrenalin rush, with awards being presented in swift succession, winners coming on stage, jumping for joy, bursting into tears and hugging the bemused presenters, great fun. I shoot 20-30 awards dinners each year ranging from international Law firms to Regional Hairdressers. Never a dull moment.
