We are Sweet Dee’s Jerk, the UK’s New-Gen Caribbean food and culture brand. A one-stop shop for Caribbean fusion cuisine in London. From our Selfridges kitchen to our homemade sauces, and unique event-catering service, family and community has always been at the heart of the brand from inception in 2017. We built our name in our hometown Tooting six years ago and have never left. What began as two brothers cooking food for their friends in their garden launching with £500, blossomed into them becoming the first black-owned Caribbean business in Selfridges’ history. From there we have gone from strength to strength, breaking boundaries, and shattering expectations of what Jamaican cuisine can do. Fast forward to today, we operate as a multi-dimensional Caribbean food brand serving over thousands of customers ever week and have been voted as one of the highest rated Caribbean eateries in the whole of the UK. We are incredibly proud of creating a community-first brand with authentic, high-quality, and innovative products. After months of careful planning and collaboration, we embarked on a journey to revitalise our brand. The brand refresh is not just a visual transformation; it is a tribute to our late father, Derek Johnson (AKA Sweet Dee). Derek’s legacy is an embodiment of our collective dedication to excellence. The team have combined our British and Jamaican heritage with our love and passion for food and family, to create a new age taste of the Caribbean. Food with feel-good energy and authentic Caribbean flavours that resonates with people beyond our food.
