Built in 1840, this historic building has a fascinating past, initially serving as a school for the neighbouring church before transforming into a pipe organ factory in the 1940s. The Mill
The Mill Bar & Reception is accessed directly from the large private forecourt on the ground floor or the main entrance. The original wood floors, exposed brick and large Georgian windows keep this generously sized 1200 square foot room feeling cosy and welcoming. With a real touch of class, The Mill Bar & Reception is the perfect place to start an event and just a few steps away from the Main Hall dining room. Chapel
Named due to its cathedral style ceiling, the Chapel Studio was originally a music room and classroom built in 1840. Connected to the Chapel Studio and included when hiring the Chapel Studio, is the Drawing Office. This is where the organ builders designed the instruments they built, it was the original chapel when The Organ Factory was a school until 1939. The Chapel Studio, situated directly above the Mill Bar & Reception has a large area of 1200 square with the eight meter high ceiling. It can comfortably sit 50 for ceremonies but could work just as well for a myriad of events. The Chapel Studio has fibre optic wifi, central heating and a powerful bluetooth speaker system.

The Square & Forecourt
The Organ Factory is located in a quiet space called St Peter's Square. This 4500 square foot space provides the venue ample parking and privacy. The forecourt can also be used for outside gatherings with the potential for the erection of marquee's and outside catering. When hiring The Organ Factory exclusively, The Square & Forecourt is included in the hire.

Main Hall
The nineteenth century Main Hall, situated to the west of The Organ Factory unground level, is the largest space at 1800 square feet. It is the perfect companion to The Mill bar and reception to the east. The Main Hall sits a very comfortable 150 family style (as photographed) and a maximum of 190. The five substantial wooden beams can be dressed with the help of our on site scissor lift. The over head lighting rig allows for creative lighting with four 13amp sockets on each of the five beams. The Main Hall is situated conveniently next to the restaurant kitchen and is directly accessible from the forecourt and corridors, perfect for street food catering set-ups if preferred. Table set ups can be quickly turned around to provide a larger area for evening social events. The Main Hall has fibre optic wifi, central heating and a powerful bluetooth speaker system.
