The Quadrangle

The Quadrangle is a family run not-for-profit, an educational space, retreat centre, and gathering place for a wide variety of groups. Our Forest Garden, Lawn, Big Barn & Granary provide the gathering space for creative sessions, nature connection and health and wellbeing workshops. We’re close enough to the city to allow for a single day’s visit, but far enough into the countryside to allow our guests to feel closely connected with the rural landscape. As well as offering our spaces for hire, we run programmes such as 'Out in the Field', which provide retreats for NHS staff and the ‘Nature Enquiry Weekends’, for artists and culture pioneers. We also host workshops and strategy sessions for companies and social enterprises. All of our commercial activities directly support vulnerable groups (including refugees and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds), who are regular visitors to the Quadrangle.
