My wife and I established café Bueno back in Jan 2017. We both quit our teaching jobs the following year to go full time with the business. We started with a mobile coffee van in North Greenwich station and expanded to four mobile pop ups in various locations around London. We have since opened a hugely busy takeaway Café in Kent. We offer three delicious coffee blends as well as delicious food such as sandwich, pies, our hugely popular bacon baps and much more. We also sell Baileys coffee, Baileys chocolate (hot or iced) at food festivals and events, which is a massive crowd pleaser. What sets us apart from the competition is our customers can choose what type of mobile pop up they would like. We have a beautiful converted coffee horsebox with an old Italian lever machine that is always in demand for weddings, corporate events and festivals. Next we have a small three wheeler Piaggio (mini tuk tuk) that can be used both indoors or outdoors. This always draws attention at events due to its size and how unique it is. Finally, we have two modern vans that are fully kitted out coffee vans. When fully set up with gazebo and counter top, the vans are practically invisible to the customer. Our first and largest is Tiger Lily, our bus, she is what we started the business with so we named the business after her. She is one of a kind. Born in the 1950's and beautifully restored. The glorious roof light windows create a wonderful ambience inside to enjoy whilst sitting at any one of their four seating booths. Two of the side windows open up with steps up to the windows so that they can also serve directly to the outside too. With 6 fridges and a hot water urn, she can be adaptable for any event as long (as there is lots of space. No power steering!) as she is a great blank canvas for private hire. The next size down are our two milk floats. Morris and Winnie. The original electric vehicles! Both have 2 group Fracino coffee machines on board and hot water urns to make service very efficient. Then we have Babyccino our Subaru Sambar. It looks like a baby VW Camper in disguise. She also has a 2 group Fracino machine on board and can be totally self sufficient without having to plug into mains electricity if required. But she is so lovely that no-one puts Baby in the corner!
