Spice bag co.

Rated 5.0 (5 reviews) in total | 29.6 miles from Abergavenny
Spice Bag Co. is a food truck run by husband-and-wife duo, Georgi and Andy, bringing bold flavours and a taste of adventure to events across Bristol and beyond. Our signature dish is inspired by the legendary Irish spice bag—a mouthwatering mix of crispy fried chicken and chips with stir fried peppers and onions mixed in our special Chinese spice blend. served in a bag with a pot of curry or sweet ´N´sour sauce. With years of experience in the high-pressure world of super yachting, we’ve taken our passion for incredible food and hospitality from the open seas to the open road, serving up delicious, high-quality street food from our eye-catching green trailer. Before launching Spice Bag Co., we spent years traveling the world. As a super yacht chef, I’ve cooked for guests in some of the most luxurious settings, while Andy, a former yacht captain, has navigated the seas with precision and skill. Our time in yachting taught us the importance of top-tier service, attention to detail, and, most importantly, creating unforgettable food experiences. Now, we’re bringing that same dedication to every event we cater, ensuring each dish is packed with flavour, freshness, and a little bit of fun. We specialise in catering for festivals, markets, private parties, and corporate events, offering a menu that’s fast, fresh, and full of flavour. Whether it’s a high-energy music festival or an intimate wedding, our food truck brings something unique to the table—bold flavours, a welcoming vibe, and a team that truly cares about delivering a great experience. What sets us apart is our background: we’re not just street food vendors, we’re hospitality professionals with a global perspective. Our bright green trailer is more than just a food truck; it’s a symbol of our journey and a promise of top-quality food and service wherever we go.
Shepherds Ice Cream

Shepherds Ice Cream

14.9 miles from Abergavenny
We make genuine artisan sheep's milk and dairy free ice creams and real fruit sorbets on our farm in the Black Mountains. The exceptional richness of sheep's milk means that you can make ice cream from the whole milk, resulting in a smooth, creamy gelato that is much lower in fat than other ice creams. And because we make all of our flavours from scratch we always offer something unusual, as well as the old favourites. Our dairy free ice creams are a natural extension of our work adapting recipe's to suit sheep's milk, and over the last few years we have developed a dairy free menu which includes highlights such as peanut butter and chocolate stracciatella and coconut and mango ripple that have become mainstays of our menu. As sheep's milk is much lower in lactose than cow's milk there are many lactose intolerant people among our followers. Our sorbets are made from our own spring water using locally grown softfruits. We have been taking our ice cream to festivals in our vintage ice cream vans, trailers, trike and marquees for more than 35 years. Our aesthetic is somewhere between vintage fairground and farmhouse. Our Marquee and trailer menu's also offer ice cream shakes, homemade cookie sandwiches, homemade hot sauces and toppings for an added ice cream parlour experience. Because we have a variety of different units we can cater to anything from a private garden party to Glastonbury Festival. And because we have been doing this for so long, you can expect a professional service. Our values are to source quality ingredients as locally as we can, make homemade as much as possible and sell honest, healthy delicious ice cream at fair prices.
New York Street Food Ltd

New York Street Food Ltd

13.0 miles from Abergavenny
We are an established festival and event catering company who have been delighting revellers across the UK with our legendary foot-long pizza slices since 2016. As veteran festival goers, we know just what’s needed from field based eateries: lots of hot, tasty food - NOW! And ideally some change left over for the bar, thanks. We provide massive portions and delicious flavours at affordable prices. New York Street Food was started in 2016 by childhood friends and band mates Craig and Luc. As the rock-star lifestyle escaped their grasp and the Nag’s Head gigs ran dry, they focussed their effort on a true passion: food. Here are the key ingredients for our stalls: FUN AND FAST SERVICE Our people are highly skilled, fast paced and great at what they do. They love working in the lively environment that is New York Slice and their over-the-till banter is legendary. We know smiles and laughter, mixed with the theatre of freshly spun pizza & aromas drifting from the kitchen all add to the punters’ experience. PREMIUM QUALITY We mix and ball the dough on site to our authentic New York recipe, then let it prove for 48 hours for the best taste. Our pizza bases are then hand stretched and topped with carefully chosen ingredients in our open kitchen. Once stacked with flavour, we bake at 450 degrees to get a delicious crunchy crust and bubbling melted cheese. INCLUSIVE The food industry has evolved rapidly in the last ten years and we continue to aim to stay ahead of the curve. Our menus always offer vegetarian and vegan options as standard and we aim to provide a genuine sensory delight that caters to most dietary requirements. We always offer an option for gluten free sides whilst being clear about the caveat that because we make our dough on site, there is flour in our kitchen. RESPONSIBLE Everyone at New York Street Food is committed to running a genuinely sustainable operation. We use fully compostable packaging, operate with zero single-use plastic, and stock only canned drinks. We recycle our oil, food waste and materials, and donate suitable surplus food to local food banks wherever possible. We source high-quality ingredients from suppliers who prioritise animal welfare and environmental responsibility. Behind the scenes, we minimise our footprint through lift-sharing for staff, fuel-efficient route planning, and low-power LED lighting across our stalls. We’re proud of our green practices and continually look for new ways to reduce waste and improve sustainability across the business. TEAM WELLBEING We have a wonderful team built on inclusivity and respect and we pride ourselves on a fun, welcoming environment that gives everyone a safe place to work, develop, and grow. We pay all our staff above the National Living Wage as recommended by the Living Wage Foundation, and we are committed to fair, transparent pay that properly reflects people’s time, effort, and skills. We value quality in all aspects of work and life, and we actively reflect this in our behaviours, our standards, and the way we treat one another across the board. OUR STALLS We have a variety of fun frontages. Last season we debuted our ground breaking back lit signage with sound interactive LEDs, and this winter we are preparing an American School bus to join our offerings. EVENTS We have catered at large events across the country over the last ten years, including Glastonbury, Kendall Calling, Parklife, , Slam dunk, Tokyo World, Blue Dot, Boomtown, Tunes in the Dunews, Creamfields, Black Deer, Lytham Festival, Neighbourhood Weekender.... The list goes on...
