We are Richard & George, and together we created The Bute Pizza Co - an independent mobile pizza co bringing you pizza that is stone baked and admires Neapolitan methods whilst being new, fun and forward in its thinking.
In 2020 we started playing with dough, creating the best pizzas we could and after, it seems, our last ever holiday to the Isle of Bute, we set on our name and the business was born.
We have a very cool but stylish pizza trailer that is fitted with a wood fired oven that heats to 450°C cooking the perfect pizza in 90 seconds.
We cater for all dietary requirements, always having vegan cheese and Gf bases and we can just do veggie/vegan pizzas if requested.
We take our environmental responsibilities seriously and this is reflected in our business philosophy. We keep packaging to a minimum and we serve our pizzas on eco recycled plates, or boxes made from recycled card. Our oven is fuelled by carbon-neutral timber, harvested from managed woodland in North Yorkshire where new trees are planted to replace those cut down.
All pizzas we do are 12" and we have two options for serving pizzas to your guests:
Option 1 is by slices where we keep a table full of pizzas for your guests to keep taking slices away when they feel like it. We would choose 4 pizzas from our menu to make throughout to keep the table full. This is great as it means everyone can try all the pizza toppings on offer and it all flows nicely. Slices would be served on eco hard paper plates.
Or option 2 where your guests come up to choose a pizza from a menu, order with us and then wait a few minutes until its done and served to them in a pizza box to take away.
Along with a growing menu, we are now also doing dessert pizzas if requested. We can make from the three types we have to serve up at the end of the event.
And we can also be totally self-sufficient if you need us to be and we will have garnishes for the pizzas on the table in front of us such as oils, sauces, and herbs. We can take all rubbish away with us, so you don't have to do a thing :)
We like to create an inviting, engaging, fun atmosphere and most likely we will have our Bute Spotify playlist playing as we go. Any staff we get in to help are usually our friends but most likely it will be us - so you know you will be getting the top service possible :)
