We started our business with one simple idea: festivals deserve genuinely great food. What began as a love for New York–style pizza quickly turned into an obsession with getting it right. It took us ages to perfect our dough recipe, tweaking, testing, and starting again until we landed on something we were truly proud of. All our pizzas are served out of our Citroen HY trailer, which always gets plenty of attention at events and does us proud. We are a family run Staffordshire based business with many years experience in running a successful rural destination pub & restaurant and during this time decided to add a small pizza oven. we were totally amazed how it was received by customers and soon began offering dedicated Pizza nights. After selling the business and having a short break we decided to create Dough2Go reproducing what we did in the restaurant but with an authentic mobile wood fired oven, our first oven was trailer mounted producing mouth watering authentic Pizza but there was still something missing.... Whilst one holiday we spotted "Bambino" a 1968 Piaggio Ape 350 which was still in use! We just had to have it, a few months later she was back in England and being converted to house a brand new oven and canopy in the patina look. Bambino attracts a lot of attention and is often the star of the show! It still runs and drives although she's a bit of a trailer queen as we have had a matching Patina trailer built for her, the rest as they say is history. We offer a full start to finish Pizza process where customers can watch their Pizza being produced in our live kitchen from hand stretching the dough, topped with our secret recipe tomato sauce base, topped with the finest ingredients and finished off with 100% Italian Mozzarella Cheese & herbs before going into the oven where you can see it cooked to perfection in just 90 seconds!
