We are The Sausage, a family-run gourmet hot dog caterer trading since 2015. You will have seen us at Lord's, Twickenham, Silverstone for the British Grand Prix, Everton FC, Aintree Racecourse, Wilderness, Isle of Wight Festival and LIV Golf - 86 public events with more than 5,000 attendees - serving more than 350 portions an hour. We also cater weddings, office parties and private events from around 40 guests upwards. Whatever the scale, the same family turns up and the same sausages come off the griddle.
Who we are
The Sausage has traded at Greenwich Market since 2015. Today we are three brothers - Giancarlo, Gianpiero and Fabrizio - and we work to a simple standard: proper sausages, made properly, served by people who care about your event.
What we serve
Our signature footlong is a Polish smoked pork sausage, 93% pork in a natural casing. Alongside it we serve a halal-certified beef sausage made from prime cuts, a halal-certified turkey frankfurter, and a beechwood-smoked seitan sausage for vegan guests. Every hot dog is finished in a soft demi-brioche bun with a choice of toppings including caramelised onions, pickled gherkins, jalapenos, sauerkraut and crispy onions, plus a range of sauces. We serve loaded fries, sausage boxes and chilled soft drinks. Halal, vegan, vegetarian and nut-free options are all covered. Tell us about any allergy or coeliac requirements in advance and we will plan around them.

Sport: Lord's Cricket Ground, Allianz Stadium Twickenham, Harlequins at The Stoop, Saracens, Kent Cricket, Everton FC, London Stadium, Aintree Racecourse, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone and LIV Golf UK.
Festivals and live events: Wilderness, Isle of Wight Festival, Love Supreme, Blenheim Palace Festival, Silverworks, Gala, Rock Oyster, Rally, Kenwood House, Palace Bowl and Boiler Room.
Brands and organisations: the BBC, Live Nation, Ben & Jerry's, Boxpark, the Royal International Air Tattoo and Team GB Olympic fan zones.
Built for events of any size
At full service we serve more than 350 portions an hour, so queues move quickly and your guests get back to the event. Our set-up can vary from gazebos, trailers and a food truck, indoors or outdoors, on gas, electricity or a combination of the two. That flexibility means we are as comfortable at a 40-person office lunch, as we are at a stadium concourse or a festival main stage.
