Here at The Pizza Co, run by Dave and Ashley, we use sourdough for our pizza bases and provide vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Sourdough pizza offers a more flavourful and easily digestible crust compared to traditional yeast-based pizza. The fermentation process breaks down gluten, making it easier on the stomach and tastes AMAZING! We can provide decorations and mood lighting for the horsebox, in addition to this (if your guests are not paying us directly for their own pizzas) we can also supply a table outside the horsebox for the pre-ordered pizzas. They will be placed on wooden pizza boards and topped up when necessary throughout the event as a buffet style. For the boring bit.....but for your peace of mind, we are members of Nationwide Catering Association (NCASS). Our chef Dave has a Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering, and all our staff are Food Hygiene qualified. We have a combined experience of over 20 years within the catering industry and are fully insured. All our electrical equipment is PAT tested and checked annually and we have our own Risk Assessments, Health and Safety Policy and COSHH Assessments. Our Allergen folder is available to all guests if required.

More than a pizza place: we are a not-for-profit, certified social enterprise. We create artisan sourdough pizzas for community events, weddings, corporate events, markets and celebrations of all kinds. Our staff are friendly, fun and put on a great show when stretching, topping and cooking each pizza to order in our mobile wood-fired oven. All our dough is made by hand and slow-fermented using traditional methods for depth of flavour and easy digestion. Our sourdough starter began its life over 100 years ago in Tasmania, and has made an epic journey over the high seas to lend its complex and delicious flavour to every pizza we make. Our menu changes with the seasons, and wherever possible we use local suppliers to source our ingredients. We can tailor our menu to suit you; we recommend seasonal options, or we can create something bespoke, tailored to your needs. Want something to stand out at your event? Then you'll love our beautifully converted vintage horse-box set-up. If you want the authentic, wood-fired approach, or access is an issue, then we can bring our gazebo set-up. Both options can be run totally off-grid, so if your event is happening somewhere without power and water options, you can still get our banging pizzas! Moreover, we are Pizza With Purpose; all profits from the sale of our pizzas go to paying our staff a fair wage and supporting our community work. We run pizza-making workshops for people in recovery, and a men’s mental health group called "Dough Bro's". Ben, who was the man with the idea, wanted to create a Hog Roast that wasn't just a butcher in a tent carving pork into floury baps! For him, presentation was just as important as the quality of the food. Several pints later and a decision on a catchy name, The Pig Apple was born! They have been feeding hungry crowds across the West Country the most delicious slow cooked meat ever since. From artisan bakers to local butchers and greengrocers, they have forged relationships with the best local independent suppliers around their South Devon base, ensuring that as well as the meat, their buns and homemade salads are equally as delicious. Basement 17 was forged in our tiny basement flat in Bristol during the covid pandemic. It started with tacos for our neighbours every Wednesday and has since evolved into a catering company with fire at its core. Carlos and Emily both share a passion for delivering the highest service and food. Carlos, originally from Mexico, draws on his childhood memories and love of Mexican flavours and combines this with local, seasonal produce from the South West to produce mouth-watering feasts. Carlos has worked in and run both Mexican and Mediterranean kitchens for many years and Emily has worked in management positions in pubs and cafes. What started with the spark of an idea one night has rapidly developed into the catering enterprise that we are today. Based in South Somerset, we now travel all over the South West bringing the flames to you. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by the freshest and best produce and source as much as we can from local suppliers. All our meat comes from Bagnell farm, our potatoes from our local grower and fish from Kingfisher of Brixham. Our love for this country and the people in it grew as we made lifelong memories through the art of food. Myself and Debbie started Buen Apetito on our return to the UK, having spent nearly nine years looking after the many VIP's frequenting Ibiza and Formentera between 2000 and 2009, with a fabulous team. At Buddha Events (T/A El Ray Del Taco), we specialise in authentic masa tacos, nachos, fries and burgers, topped with stunning produce from Devon organic family farms (sourced within 15 miles of our HQ). Our menu is split 50/50 between Devon bred rare breed meats and stunning plant based dishes. Our entire menu is gluten free and we also pride ourselves on making all of our own punchy sauces, marinades, pickles and salsas. We have a huge ethical bias in the sourcing of all of our own ingredients and all of our meat is from long lived Devon rare breeds, which are slow reared on organic farms. As well as giving these animals a longer and more fulfilling life, it also delivers a significantly better flavour. We operate from a 3m x 3m gazebo and can serve on or off grid. We have traded at many events both small and large (from private functions of 20 people up to festivals such as Glastonbury with over 100,000).
