Chop and Chip Co is a specialist BBQ catering company, founded in 2013 with a street food heritage. Fuelled by their desire to offer restaurant quality dishes on the go, they set out to create a new and unique BBQ-style food concept and Chop and Chip Co was born. Their mission is to serve up delicious and tender meats with a uniquely blended range of dry seasonings. They started their food journey in Big Bertha, an original 1972 Californian Airstream trailer that was painstakingly brought back to life from a nearly worn-out state. It can be found up and down the country at various outdoor events serving, with pride, from the now gleaming and fully fitted trailer. Since 2013, they have come a long way, expanding their menus to offer all things BBQ in various settings. The original Street Food menu allows you to build up your perfect meal with an exciting array of flavours to choose from and tasty sides to add if you're extra peckish. Gamekeeper is London’s only venison burger street food business, specialising in sustainable British game. After starting in a shed we built ourselves in 2014, we now have multiple locations across the capital and regularly appear at the UK’s biggest events, festivals and food destinations. Along with permanent sites at The Oval, Flat Iron Square and Tottenham Hotspur, we’ve cooked up our smashed venison burgers at Ascot, Wimbledon, Glastonbury, Winter Wonderland, The Southbank Centre and a dozen other places. We’ve run private events too, for leading brands like EE, Amazon and Deliveroo. We sell tens of thousands of burgers each year and all of our meat is stalked wild, making it more sustainable and environmentally friendly. In fact, unlike most pop-ups and restaurants, all of our venison can be traced back to the estate it came from. We never use single-use plastic either, opting for biodegradable cutlery and containers instead. We’re proud to use excellent suppliers. We work with artisan bakers, speciality cheesemakers and game specialists with over a century of history. Our sauces are made with love in-house, using organic ingredients and free-range eggs. Specialising in using high quality fresh ingredients to create each and every burger and side order, we believe that a burger shouldn’t be “just a burger” it should be the ultimate comfort food, the not so guilty pleasure and the thing you most look forwards to at the end of a long day. Working in unison with our award winning butchers, Astles of Portsmouth, we created a unique burger blend using our Three Cuts of beef; Chuck, Brisket and Short Rib. These Three Cuts ensure our burgers have great flavour and depth to them whilst enabling us to keep the fat content just right to ensure the perfect juiciness of a hearty burger. Serving from our Steam Punk, Butchers Block, Industrial style Amobox trailer we offer both the style of a cool set up but also keeping the substance of an awesome high quality smash burger. The business was founded in 2013 with one clear mission – to shake up the gourmet burger market outside of London (Burgers should never be termed gourmet in 7bone Burger’s humble opinion) and deliver the best dirty burgers in town. Following a years’ worth of development and testing – with a very patient butcher and baker! It originally took guise as a food stall in the centre of Southampton, a move to bricks and mortar followed soon after. They have now gone on to open a further 8 sites across the South Coast (with more planned) and now feels like a good time to go back to where we started and bring a truck (Britney – yes, she has a name!) back into the fold. They have worked with and stayed committed to the same Family butcher that they had from day one and everything that they order is bespoke to 7bone from the cuts used in our blend, the ageing of the meat and the grind they use – all of the beef comes from the West Country and is all higher welfare slaughter. They also developed their very own bun recipe and are one of only a handful of operators in the UK that can legitimately serve their burgers pink – so they’ll always be juicy, never dry and hopefully dripping down your chin if you’re eating them properly! Consistency and attention to detail are at the core of what 7bone Burger do and always have done. They like to have fun at the events they go to, but at the same time, they take food quality and service, as well as food safety and training, very seriously.
