As a couple, we are both professional chefs with over 20 years of experience in hospitality with having worked in some top restaurants, gastro pubs and hotels in the south east and London. Anthony trained in the well renown Westminster Kingsway college where he studied to become a professional chef, He has also been involved in various competitions with the craft guild of chefs, Hotelyimpia and also Nestle Toq dor national competition. Anthony achieved medals in all of these events. He is now a Development chef working at a top Vineyard in Kent called Gusbourne estate where he works alongside Vine and Country tours creating Dishes that match the wines for events and tour dining. Agnes trained in one of the best patisserie colleges in Hungary for 4 years and then moved to the UK in 2004 to gain more experience in different kitchens and Environments. over the last 17 years she has become a very versatile chef with much knowledge of her craft. Our food is described as hearty, rustic and heart warming, but that is not all of our capabilities! We can also cater for the finer events with our diverse backgrounds. A majority of the time our menu will be based around European style food with a modern twist, but we can cater for many different types of cuisines too. We have recently finished working at a stall inside Ramsgate promenade Market where we showcased our European street food theme. our signature dish is Langos which is a street food of Hungary and we wanted to be different to the rest. We finished it off with many varieties of toppings to give it the food on focus flair and took it to new heights. We didn't just do Langos though, we also done our own style Hungarian Burrito called '' The Hungrito'' which was much loved by our customers, and we also made our own spiced paprika sausage and served it alongside Fried Potatoes and onions, Sauerkraut and a dash of Mustard which was called the ''Paprika Banger''. Our style of food is to honest and tasty with a twist on classics! We like to stand out from the crowd and shout out ''Who wants to try something different''. Welcome to Black Pig Catering, established in 2015 by Adam Blackett. After graduating from Colchester Catering College he started work at The Mason's Arms, a country pub with a fine dining restaurant and a Michelin star. It was under the tutelage of Mark Dodson that Adam truly developed as a chef, learning that consistency and great produce were the key to success. Later Adam moved to London working at the contemporary restaurant Searcys at The Gherkin, and afterwards at the discreet private member's club The Walbrook under the expert eye of Albert Roux. Based in Essex, we cover most of the South of England and regularly cater for events in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, London and Kent travelling as far as West Sussex for Goodwood Motor events and Cornwall for Boardmasters Festival. We cater for formal sit down meals including wedding breakfasts and private dining as well as more informal catering from our range of food trucks and handmade wooden market stalls. We always strive to use locally sourced and high welfare produce, and won't compromise on quality or lower our standards. We deliver fresh, uncomplicated food where you can taste the quality of the ingredients. We have two vintage Citroen HY vans in blue and grey and a new high-end food truck in dark blue which is capable of catering for large numbers and includes a pizza oven.
