Vegan Filth

Rated 5.0 (1 review) in total | 13.6 miles from Port Talbot
Vegan Filth was opened in May of 2020 in the height of lockdown. Myself (Natasha) and partner, Dalton saw a demand in our local area for Vegan Junk Food. I have always had a fascination with American junk food leading me to create my own food blog of recipes and do local demonstrations of how to prepare delicious vegan food. We were disappointed with the offerings of plant based meals within Wales so decided to do it ourselves. Demand was overwhelming and we were quickly able to establish ourselves in the local area as "those filthy vegans!". Beginning as a small horse trailer on our driveway we were quickly able to 'level up' our business into a well known Welsh vegan business. We have moved into a dark kitchen in Wind Street, Swansea making it easier for us to serve more customers in the restaurant upstairs and on UBEREATS. After two years of trading we have traded in many British Food festivals and are always very popular despite being a very niche product. Customers feedback over our food styling and branding usually contains the words "filthy!" in a positive way! We approach veganism with a laid back/tongue in cheek style to try and break down negative preconceptions of veganism. We find this is the best approach and have had customers later come back and say they would never usually try vegan food but "our kebab is delicious!", and has changed their way of looking at cruelty free food. This is reflected within our branding of being a bit "cheeky" with names of our food making people laugh and not taking ourselves too seriously. Good food is good food! Feedback has always been very positive from companies we work with. We usually get repeat bookings and further opportunities as we have a good work ethic, are friendly yet professional (and usually we end up feeding the staff as they love our food). Organisers have stated how we are always the first on site and last to leave. We usually find that customers if they know we are in the area are willing to come visit us repeatedly so closing early is not an option as we want to keep everyone satisfied.
The Spanish Buffet Ltd

Valencia is a fantastic region in the east of Spain, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It has a very particular freshwater lake called La Albufera, connected by a natural canal to the Mediterranean Sea. This particular phenomenon makes this lake exceptional for growing round rice, typical of all the Spanish rice dishes. Valencia is very rich in different rice dishes, but overall it's most famous for being the birthplace of Paella. The Paella is the typical Sunday family lunch, usually made by the fathers, they teach their children from an early age how to cook it, keeping all the love and tradition. When the paella is made, the father puts the paella pan in the middle of the table and all the family eat from the same pan with a wooden spoon, helping to keep all the family united, eating from the same pan and spending the Sunday together. When I moved to Wales in 2013, I decided to start making paellas for me and my friends, and, in 2014, I thought of starting my own business making paellas in small festivals and markets. The business grew, and I started doing bigger and better festivals and events, adding vegetarian and seafood paella, and some typical tapas to consolidate a healthy and diverse menu, keeping always in mind where I come from. Luckily the business survived the pandemic. I'm proud of what I have achieved so far. I'm happy to be back working at festivals and looking for new horizons. We specialize in making delicious Spanish paellas and tapas, using the highest quality ingredients imported from Spain, combined with Welsh meat and vegetables, bringing all the Mediterranean flavour and tradition from our country, loved and appreciated all around the world. Our main ingredients are imported from Spain, with a " Denominacion de origen" label which is a guarantee of Fair trade products, our Welsh meat is halal and red tractor, and all our vegetables are organic. All our menu is Gluten Free, Nut Free and Dairy free We have traded at many prestigious events over the years, including "Download Festival", "BBC Biggest Weekend", " Cardiff International Food and Drink Festival", "Badminton Horse Trials'', "The Hay Festival'', "Victorious Festival", "National Eisteddfod Festival'', and many more.
