British Land x Togather: cultural celebrations & supporting small businesses at work
Written by Bella Jolly, Wed 4 October 2023
“It’s a really easy service to use and great that you can find caterers to suit a particular type of event need.”
At British Land, cultural events and celebrations make up a key part of their company events calendar. Our client Kate Johnson has approached us for a wide range of events, including a Black History Month event, a Windrush summer social, an International Women’s Day event, and a customer welcome breakfast.
Making use of their account manager
Like many of our clients, Kate doesn’t have hours on her hands to sift through potential suppliers, so she leant on her account manager to whittle down options and present a quality shortlist that fits her budget. British Land have also used their account manager to build bespoke menus for their event, utilising our relationships with small businesses that are flexible enough to make it happen.
“I think because of the wide variety of suppliers, there’s options I have considered that wouldn’t have been my original choice”
Supporting small independents is a priority for British Land and Kate and her team have loved discovering new ones via our platform. She also loves how every business takes the time to really consider her enquiry and deliver a relevant and often bespoke quote - something that isn’t always possible with a one-size-fits-all wider business.
“It’s great to easily compare costs and options”
Of course, at the end of the day, we want all our customers to have a smooth experience. For Kate, Togather is easy to use and easy to compare all her options: and she noted that if any issues did arise, her account manager was able to quickly and easily resolve them on her behalf.
