Excitement is building as the Euro 2024 football tournament approaches - kick off is on 14th June. What better way to get behind the tournament than by hosting a celebration right in your office. You could even do an office sweepstake with each team member pulling a country from a hat and then give prizes for the overall winner, team with most goals scored, quickest goal scored, most goals conceded etc.

You don't have to love football to enjoy the Euros, and it’s a great opportunity to enhance your own team spirit, celebrate diversity, and inject some fun into the workplace. And what better way to celebrate than with some food from around Europe! Check out our suppliers below to go on a culinary tour of the continent whilst the tournament is going on.

England: Pies

We can't think of a better way to kick off the Euros than with a good old pie lunch. Crafty Pies are the perfect pick - all their meat is from local farms and they're serious tournament contenders themselves, having won medals at the British Pie Awards and reached the finals of the British Street Food Awards.

Spain: Paella

They've won the tournament three times so far, will 2024 be their fourth? Whatever happens, no one can say no to a delicious serving of paella from La Real Paella. We're not the only ones who think their paella is the best around - they've won plenty of awards for their freshly cooked, authentic paella. A perfect office lunch for everyone to dig into and share, it really is a great way to treat your team. And, whilst you're at it, why not polish off lunch with some churros from another of our faves, Churros Hermanos?

France: Crêpes

With over 30,000 crêpes under their belt, there's not much Crêpe Salut don't know about this French classic. Ticking all boxes by offering both savoury and sweet options, your team can choose from classics like cheese and ham or Nutella...or go for something a little more out there like sundried tomatoes and Basilico pesto or sweet apple and cinnamon sugar. Quick service time and a huge variety of options make this a great option for a quick lunchtime treat.

Portugal: Grilled meat sandwiches

Portugal's sandwich game is strong and Santa Bifana bring you grilled meat sandwiches and fries straight from the heart of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon. Everything is cooked fresh in front of your eyes and would make for an epic office lunch!

Italy: Pizza

What better way to kick off the tournament than with a celebration of the 2021 Euros winners and this Italian classic from Aria Artisan Pizza. Having had them to the Togather HQ for our own office lunch, we can confidently say their sourdough pizzas are absolutely incredible. Get a bunch of different toppings and there's guaranteed to be a little something for every team member. Their truck 'Honey' is absolutely stunning too!

Scotland: Toasties

2024 will only be their third time in the Euros, so the Scots definitely deserve a celebration this year. Deeneys serve incredible toasties in a melty homage to Scottish flavours - their 'Macbeth' sandwich features Haggis, cheddar, caramelised onion, rocket & mustard on granary bread

As ever, throwing an office lunch is more than just a way to keep your team fed. It's a great opportunity to treat your team and give them a chance to socialise with people outside of their department. We know first hand the importance of giving back to your employees, and a Euro 2024 lunch is the perfect excuse to do so!
