We are Sarah and Claudia. We set up Borrowed Light Floral Studio in the North East corner of London in 2018.

We wanted to do big, fun things with cut flowers, which we do; but along the way we also discovered a love of plants, which now plays an equal part.

Inspiration comes from all sorts of places for us, from our local forest to urban architecture, changing seasons to artworks. Somehow it all feeds back into our work. We love a good project!

Years of working in the floral industry have given us the knowledge and experience to understand the history, seasonality and temperament of flowers.

Developing a sustainable practice is important to us, which is why we favour British or ideally locally grown flowers and foliage. We grow some ourselves and source from a wide range of suppliers.

Whether you are planning a launch, pop-up, photoshoot or private party, we create designs that are unique and memorable, all bookable right here on Feast It.

We provide bridal bouquets, hair flowers, table arrangements, backdrops and hanging installations, bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, venue decoration and wedding favours

Events

For both private and corporate events we teach floral arranging, bouquet making, kokedama, terrarium, dried flower arranging and wreath making
