After first travelling to Colombia in 2011, owner of El Cafecito Chris decided that he needed to try and bring back a small slice of what he'd enjoyed so much in South America. All over Colombia (and many Latin American countries) you find many tiny coffee shops with different colours and materials often used to make and maintain the shops, they all have completely individual character.

They thought to themselves, how could this be copied here in the simplest way? And El Cafecito all started with brainstorming over a coffee and the decision was made that the best way to try and recreate what he found in Colombia would be to convert a van into a mobile coffee shop!

After creating the van the next stop was to source a coffee that lived up to the dream! With months of searching, the team found the coffee they had been looking for: an amazing single origin Colombian coffee from the region of Santa Marta, Magdalena.
