About Mezzo - Italian Street Food
Mezzo was founded in 2020 by Alice, born and raised in Rome and relocated to London for love. Alice always had a passion for cooking since when she started helping Nonna in the kitchen cooking up a storm for the "famiglia". Always loved hospitality and worked every role in the field since Uni, couldn't find authentic Italian food in London so decided to pause her career as a lawyer to start Mezzo - Italian Street Food, to share her passion for Italian regional cuisine with the UK public, because where she comes from, to share food is to share love! Mezzo - Italian Street Food offers a range of different types of Italian street foods, from fresh pastas with homemade sauces, made to order and cooked on the spot, to porchetta panini and focaccia pockets straight from Roma! People love our Tiramisù and our Italian take on cheese toasties! With our food offer we aim to accommodate all needs, from a private friends gathering in the backyard to a busy music festival! We operate from a cool food trailer that was previously used to move musical instruments, all kitted and made wonderful by Alice's boyfriend (that runs his own festival/restaurant/pub construction firm)! We normally operate at breweries, food markets, private events, festivals and where ever there's people, food and good times! Our goal is to deliver to our customers the authenticity of Italian regional cuisine with every single one of our recipes.. no cutting corners, no compromises!
