About The Cotswold Salt Beef Company
Founded in 2018 by Caroline whose fond memories of growing up in London and having regular Sunday trips to the East End with her father always culminated with a Salt Beef sandwich or a bagel. As friends of Caroline's, Chris & I loved her products and vision so much we bought the business! Our mission is to deliver the perfect Salt Beef and create a unique tasting experience of a traditional East End deli salt beef sandwich with Cotswold provenance. Cotswold Salt Beef serves up food with a whole lotta love. Presented on a hand rolled bagel or a light rye bread with caraway seeds, gluten free bagel or Naked, go for a Traditional of mustard, salt beef and pickles or a Reuben with added sauerkraut, Russian dressing and cheese or add our home cured pastrami for the Ruby Max. Or if Pastrami is your thing have it NY Deli style! Our veggie options include grilled Halloumi bagels with rocket, hummus, tomato and salsa, whilst our homemade falafel will excite your taste buds served on a pitta and if you switch Tzatziki for hummus, it makes it the perfect vegan option. We’ve got you covered, whatever foodie rules you live by. All served from our converted Harris Horsebox, The Cotswold Salt Beef Company love a party. We are a friendly and professional team of friends and family and will always go the extra mile to ensure everyone is catered for and goes away happy and satisfied. With that in mind we do offer further options of loaded fries or nachos and our selection of home-made sides, sauces, salad and desserts to wow all of your guests for all events. Nothing comes close to a salt beef sandwich, it is addictive. It is a centuries old classic, always cooked to perfection. This is the best Salt Beef you will eat! Salt beef that has been brined with a recipe passed down through generations, sandwiched between mustard, dill pickle, cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing and your choice of soft chewy bagel or artisan Rye bread with Caraway.
