We ploughed ahead with restoring and converting a vintage 1972 British Leyland AEC fire engine into a spectacular Champagne bar. Yes, the bell, sirens and blue lights work, no - champagne isn't served from the hoses. #ringbellforchampagne takes on a whole new meaning. The fire truck provides an eye catching backdrop to their serving bar, framed by original ladder structure and romantically sheltered by a stunning red canopy. Authentic French Oak riddling racks from a saw mill in the heart of Champagne create the intriguing bar front, while the top of the water tank is one of many repurposed elements of the original fire engine. Once home to hose reels and kit, the lockers house bottle-shaped aperture displays of the finest vintages, while fridges keep the Champagne at the perfect serving temperature. We source from a wide range of champagnes, as well as home grown English Sparkling, non alcoholic sparkling and more traditional draught lagers and cider. Following an extremely busy event at Bromsgrove School Commemoration Day, Champagne Fire Truck is on the suppliers list of many private schools.
