Deviant & Dandy is a brewery and taproom sitting under 2 railway arches in the vibrant borough of Hackney, a brief 5min walk from Hackney Central Overground station.

The venue boasts a 2000 sq/ft courtyard with a fully stocked container bar and a 1000sq/ft warehouse which can be used for events / private parties and gatherings.

We are a central part of Hackney’s thriving arts scene, regularly hosting music events and gigs in our converted ex-garage. We’ve hosted events for City Splash Festival, Hackney Reggae Festival, London LGBTQ+ Christmas market, Hackney Carnival, KP Nuts product launch party, Street Sounds Music 40th anniversary record launch party and more.

We are very well connected with Hackney street food traders scene and we would be more than happy to organise your ideal food options, and our head bar tender is always open to bespoke cocktail selections (including non-alcoholic options.

Spaces

Our outdoor space is approx 2000 sqft, with a large covered/heated booth to seat approx 15, as well as covered/heated Pergola with multiple seats/tables. The space is full of plants and our arches have been painted by renowned street artist Ed Hicks, with a jungle like theme to fit the history of the space. The warehouse can be cleared for additional event space, where have hosted a number of DJ's/bands/ yoga classes and has a capacity of 80-100 and around 800 sqft. Inside the brewery itself, we have 6 smaller cubby booths that can sit around 5-10 people, which are perfect for smaller groups.
