Founded by childhood friends Tom & Jack in 2019, El Rayo Tequila is a modern British drinks brand who have reimagined the Mexican icon. They are inspired by the new symbols of Mexico that will put the sombrero to bed, and want to help people uncover the attitude and depth of modern Mexico. El Rayo is a field to bottle spirit and uses 100% blue agave. Their blue agave are hand planted, hand harvested and hand-made to retain as much of the complex flavours as possible. The result is a spirit that is fresh and natural, yet deep and layered with a range of savoury and vegetal notes.
