We chatted to some of our suppliers to get their advice on what has worked for them when it comes to securing and keeping corporate clients happy on Togather.

Here’s what they had to say…

1. Be clear & keep it simple:

  • - A common theme that came up was always starting with a single offering in quotes rather than sending multiple options straight away. This makes it easier for the customer to see exactly what’s on offer without feeling overwhelmed.

  • - It also helps to check the tags the customer has selected on Togather to help decide which menu to suggest. If they come back with questions, you can always offer alternatives, but it's important to keep things clear and straightforward from the get-go.

2. Stay proactive with communication

  • - Once the event is booked through Togather, always make sure to stay in touch with the customer to sort out all the details beforehand. It’s a good idea to confirm what access you'll have and what the customer wants in terms of setup.

  • - On the day of the event, always send a text to let the customer know you’re on our way and what time they can expect you. Keeping the customer reassured is really important — a quick check-in before the event and clear communication goes a long way.

  • - If you're running late or stuck in traffic, the sooner you reach out, the better. Those conversations can be awkward, but they're always better than leaving the customer in the dark. A bit of transparency goes a long way towards building trust.

3. Small extras, big impact:

  • - Corporate clients love a personalised touch - always try to add a touch of customisation to their event. This could be something small, like creating menu cards with their name on, or going all out with fully branded materials to give the experience a personal touch.

  • - If customisation isn’t possible, aim to offer little ‘extras’ — whether that’s sweet treats or complimentary soft drinks. These small gestures often make a big difference and show the customer you care about their experience.

4. Stay proactive with communication

  • - Whether it’s good or bad, listening to customer feedback is really important for helping your business grow with Togather. This is especially true for businesses just starting out, as feedback can really help you improve and attract more corporate clients by tailoring your services better.

  • - How you respond to feedback often makes a big difference in whether a customer decides to rebook with you. A simple apology and an offer to fix any issue can sometimes be all it takes.

  • - Togather gives suppliers insights into who the typical corporate customer is and what they want - use this to shape how you handle feedback. Reach out to the Togather team to hear the feedback they've received from the client. By listening and adapting based on customer needs, you set yourself up to stand out and build lasting relationships.
