We are a much loved restaurant in central Cambridge and was founded in 2017. We have had a great success with the University of Cambridge MayBalls and are now catering for large scale events including BBQs, canapes as well as smaller more intimate affairs. We are extremely client-focussed and we make sure to deliver the best service at the most accessible pricing; we want to make sure that everyone gets their value for money from us without ever sacrificing quality. We have two in-house chefs, our Hot Food Chef & Boulanger is a Frenchman (with 20+years experience as a Sous-Chef in the Cambridge Colleges) and our Cold Food is a Yorkshireman (who has 8+years catering all over the countries). The menus that we devise would be personalised, affordable and tailored to make any special occasion as intimate as possible; there is hardly a cuisine or fare that we cannot handle. We serve gelatos, bubble teas, waffles & other delicious food offerings. We have attached our Menus to show the products we do (Alcohol license is coming through to allow for a full range of products). Signature dishes are the Newton bubble waffle & the Cookies & Cream milkshake; which are easily the best in the region.

Nomad was born in 2022. The business itself is a culmination of a lot of things but especially my desire to cook a variety of different food. The people behind the business are me (Kieran) and my partner (Natalie). I am an avid chef that loves creating a range of different dishes from a huge range a cuisines. We truly love world cuisine (which is reflected in our business name) and have a special passion for eating. This is a 50/50 joint enterprise between me and Natalie but I specialise in savoury food and Natalie focuses primarily on sweet food and desserts. We have a huge repertoire of dishes that we have cooked and also that we are willing to test and try. Some of our menu options can be seen on our profile, but this isn’t ann exhaustive list. Nearly all of our food is homemade, with as many local and authentic ingredients as possible. We cater for every kind of different event imaginable but most of our schedule is taken up by wedding bookings and larger scale corporate events. We offer a wide range of services and meals, and our USP is that, within reason, we can try and offer you bespoke meals and accompaniments. We do this for two main reasons. The first is that this allows us flexibility as a business that other caterers and street food providers can't offer. The second is that we really love experimenting with food, and creating new meals and menus and this approach allows us to express ourselves and learn as chefs. Natalie and I both pride ourselves on our ability to offer great customer service and keep our clients as happy as possible. In terms of our values, if we ever need support, our employees are paid well over minimum wage for the simple fact that we value people and the time they're willing to give us. We believe that this promotes a happy and motivating environment.
