Tacoman is a converted 1970 Citroën HY van selling LA style tacos. It is run and owned by Nick Armitage who has 30+ years experience in hospitality.  
We chose tacos because they pretty much define what ‘street food’ is - fast, tasty, fun & inexpensive. And we use soft corn tacos so our food is gluten free! 
We work on most kinds events, corporate, private, public pitches, weddings, divorces etc & the truck has a modern engine and a generator, so can go anywhere! 
We take great pride in getting to know our customers with conversations,  site visits and menu tastings if needed before we agree to any work. We want our guests to put their confidence in us.
We let the guest decide how, when and where - then we show up and make it happen.

Yu-ca-taco

Yu-ca-taco’s founding philosophy is to provide high quality traditional Mexican food (to those who might otherwise not have access to it) at an affordable price. They believe in local and responsible food sourcing, especially when it comes to meat, and aim to completely eliminate plastic waste by avoiding single-use plastics.

The Yu-ca-taco team have never met a person who didn’t like real Mexican food. In 2010, Mexican food was recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, but Yu-ca-taco go one step further: they believe that access to this life-changing cuisine should be upgraded to a universal human right. In lieu of a Government-Funded Mexican-Food Relief-Scheme (or GFMFRS), Yu-ca-taco have taken it upon themselves to provide this essential service.

The menu includes classic soft-shell corn tortillas, filled with slow-cooked meat (or beans for the veggies and vegans), topped with fresh salad and home-made salsas. It’s all served from their awesome yellow horsebox which is guaranteed to be the focal point at any event!

For Yu-ca-taco, Mexican food is three things: simple, fresh, and bursting with flavour. Sure, Tex-Mex can be satisfying but nobody eats a delectable, traditional Yucatán taco and turns down a second one! You can book Yu-ca-taco for your event here on Togather.

The award-winning Taco Truck serves up delicious Mexican soft corn tacos at their authentic best.

Brilliant head chef Henning makes annual trips to Mexico each year to further increase his taco inspiration and sources his ingredients from local suppliers to make sure that they're as fresh as anything could ever be! The choices for fillings cover a full spectrum of tastes. 

The tacos themselves are served from a gorgeous vintage van, which is a beautiful centrepiece at any event while being able to serve around 100 portions an hour so your guests won't be queuing for too long!

The Bearded Taco

The Bearded Taco is the love child of Sian and Jake - they both love to travel and love to eat so they have attempted to create a taco menu using influences from the many countries that they have had the pleasure of visiting.

Although authentic Mexican taco's play a pivotal role in our creations, we also use international inspiration to build on a Mexican foundation. Expect offerings such as a Vietnamese Bahn Mi Taco, Moroccan Chicken Taco and their most popular offering, the gin & tonic deep-fried avocado tacos.

They trade from their uniquely converted ford transit van named Contessa, who spent most of her previous life as a police riot wagon. Absolutely everything on the menu is made from scratch including the gluten-free handmade corn tortillas and they always offer at least one tasty and innovative vegetarian option.



Pura Vida Tacos

Our story starts long before our trip through Mexico, it starts as childhood friends who developed a passion for entrepreneurship and other cultures and cuisines. We have always had a shared love of food and family, and were drawn to the colorful, fresh ingredients used in Mexican cuisine as well as the unity that surrounds it. 

For 6 months, we followed our tastebuds through the west of Mexico, learning authentic cooking techniques from locals, sharing stories with tins of beer in hand, and soaking up the laid-back lifestyle - with a bit of partying and surfing in between! Our love for this country and the people in it grew as we made lifelong memories through the art of food.

And so, we ventured back to England with a wealth of cooking knowledge, an excitement to bring the ‘Pura Vida’ lifestyle into everyday life, and an extra few kilos round our waists! With our renovated truck, we are aiming to intertwine the English familiarity with the unique flavors and mentality we picked up in Mexico. Thank you for supporting us!
