The Fish & Chip Trailer

Fareham
The vintage fish & chips catering trailer is backed by a busy, loved fish & chip shop on the South coast, and the trailer will be no different in serving the same quality fish & chips at events. The Vintage trailer is a mobile fish & chip shop on wheels, which features many of the favourites you expect from your local fish & chip shop. Many of the items are produced in-house at Stubbington Fish & Chips to ensure the quality, consistancy are served each time. Chips are cut daily from the freshest potatoes and fish is skinned on-site to maintain flavour during transport. The trailer will be the same, same products, same staff to create memorable events for people. This is an expansion of the shop to enable us to work with event organisers further afield as a business we have been undertaking party orders for years, year after the year for the same customers. Every event organiser, will have the opportunity to visit the shop and meet the people behind the trailer, this way all options can be discussed for the event as each event is different, but most importantly, the event organiser will be able to try the food. The traditional fish & chip shop favourites are offered, Cod, Haddock, Plaice, Scampi, Cod Roe, Sausages, and modern favourites of Burgers and Chicken Nuggets or Fish Fingers. But, it doesn't stop there, we can provide the pickles, sauces, drinks and ice-cream, meaning everything can be brought to the event. As the trailer is supported by one of the busiest shops on the Solent, we are used to working to tight timescales, maybe you've left the catering to the last minute, or a cancellation by another supplier, speak to us, we maybe able to help.
Yeates Catering

Yeates Catering

Chichester
Yeates Catering was founded in 2018 by Ralph and Julie Yeates, a husband-and-wife team with a shared passion for great food and great service. What began as a small family idea soon grew into a successful mobile catering business, loved for its friendly atmosphere and traditional, freshly cooked fish and chips. How It All Began In the early days, Ralph and Julie started with a simple vision: bring high-quality, comforting food directly to local events, villages, and communities. They wanted to offer something warm, welcoming and unforgettable — and nothing brings people together quite like proper fish and chips. But the journey wasn’t always easy. One of their biggest early challenges was mastering the perfect fish and chips. From choosing the right potatoes for fluffy-inside, crispy-outside chips, to learning the ideal batter consistency, to finding the best sustainable fish suppliers — every detail mattered. Ralph spent months perfecting the frying technique, while Julie focused on developing a menu that guests of all ages would enjoy. Through dedication, countless trials, and invaluable feedback from customers, they created the signature taste that Yeates Catering is known for today. Growing Into a Trusted Fish & Chip Van As word spread, the demand grew. Ralph and Julie invested in a fully equipped mobile fish and chip van, allowing them to serve at a wide range of events including: Weddings Birthday parties Corporate events School celebrations Village fetes and fairs Community gatherings Every portion is cooked fresh on site, bringing the nostalgic smell, sound and taste of traditional chip-shop favourites straight to you. Why People Love Us. Customers choose Yeates Catering for: Freshly cooked traditional fish and chips Friendly, reliable service A clean and fully self-sufficient mobile catering van Flexible menus for all event sizes Experience, passion and a genuine family-run approach Our Promise Today, Yeates Catering continues to grow, one event at a time. Ralph and Julie remain hands-on in every part of the business — from preparation and cooking to meeting guests and ensuring every event runs smoothly. Their mission is simple: Serve great fish and chips. Make people happy. Create memorable events. And the journey is far from over.

Hook & Cook Streetfood

Horley
After 15 years working in hotels, events and award winning restaurants the streets were calling my name. Hook & Cook was born after being at a festival and hearing traders talking about local produce, ethical and sustainable measures but seeing fish being really underrepresented. So I set about a few dishes that I knew would get people excited about eating fish, spoke with a fishmonger I'd known for years about getting fish only from day boats so it would support local communities and eventually settled on slinging out great fish finger sandwiches to the Great British public. Hook & Cook mainly are a streetfood, parties, events and pop up restaurant offering with the ability to do small private dinner parties as a tasting menu. As a business we have only 3 rules "is the fish seasonal?", "has it been caught ethically and by a day boat?" & "do people want to eat it?". If the answer to all 3 is yes, we go for it. Early in menu planning we noticed we were actually naturally dairy free using things like coconut milks for depth of flavour and took the decision to use gluten free breadcrumbs so we could easily cater for Coeliacs and other Gluten-Free dietary requirements by switching out the bun as they presented themselves. We are really passionate about using local produce, bold flavours and keeping the menu seasonal, so you'll see the fish we use change throughout the year, this helps us prevent overfishing and also help support the British fishing communities. We have great suppliers we work with who help us do this.
